Fine footwork, food and fundraising at ‘Dancing With the Lincoln City Stars’

Dancing With the Local Stars will start at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Lincoln City Cultural Center.

This event, coordinated by Jim “Elvis” Rodriquez, will be a buffet dinner and dance showcase, with proceeds split between the LCCC and Lincoln City Relay for Life. Tickets are on sale now at the center, located at 540 NE Highway 101.

“My wife, Diane, and I volunteer for Relay for Life, which raises money for the American Cancer Society, because we have nine members of our family who have been affected by cancer. Seven have passed away, and two are survivors,” Rodriquez said. “They, and the thousands of others dealing with this dreadful disease, deserve our support.”
