Newport has airport committee vacancy

The City of Newport is seeking applications from citizens interested in serving on the airport committee. This committee meets at city hall the second Tuesday of the month at 2 p.m. It is charged with recommending rules and regulations for the Newport Municipal Airport, recommending policies governing the use of airport property, reporting to the city council, making studies or reports and promoting the airport.
