Health Care for All-Oregon, HCAO, is a statewide effort to find a way for all Oregonians to have affordable quality health care. More than 60 Oregon organizations have formed the HCAO coalition to make Health Care for All a reality. Local advocates have been meeting for several months to educate themselves about the health care system and discuss how to make publicly funded universal health care available to all Oregon residents. Other such grassroots groups are organizing across the state, including along the coast from Brookings to Lincoln City.
