Kelsey Holmberg and Jason Adams, of Bend, Ore., announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dave and Madeleine Holmberg of Bend. In 2000, she graduated from Mountain View High School in Bend. In 2004, she graduated from Davidson College in North Carolina, and in 2006, from Southern Oregon University. She is employed by Redmond High School in Redmond, Ore.

Her fiancé is the son of Howard and Carol Adams of Toledo, Ore., and Priscilla Martin of Bend. In 1997, he graduated from Mountain View High School in Bend, and in 2001 from Oregon State University. He is employed by Creative Real Estate Solutions and Arbor Builders.

The couple plan to be married Aug. 10, 2013 at Anchor Heart Ranch in Bend.
