Computer classes offered at Newport Library in January

The Newport Public Library will offer a number of free computer classes during the month of January.

Beginning Excel will be taught on Jan. 4 at 9 a.m. This class teaches the basics of creating a spreadsheet and adding rows and columns. Intermediate Excel will be offered that same day at 10 a.m. and will teach how to balance a checkbook, use multiple worksheets, and create charts.
