Newport comes up short in Siuslaw seesaw tussle

Back and forth they went, Newport’s star juniors and the Siuslaw Vikings.

Jasmine Wagner scored. The Vikings answered. Katie Losier banged home a go-ahead three to go up 33-31. Siuslaw retaliated with a triple from the top of the key to recoup the lead 34-33, with 29 seconds to go.
