Free painting workshops offered

Looking to expand oneís artistic horizons over the holidays? Visiting artist Molly Smith will teach two free painting workshops, on Dec. 27 and 30, at the Lincoln City Cultural Center, at 540 NE Highway 101 in Lincoln City.

Smith is an artist and educator who recently moved out of New York City. She is in the area as part of an artistís residency and is happy to be working with people who are interested in exploring their creativity. Smith has shown artwork nationally and internationally and is currently working on pieces for two upcoming solo shows in California. She holds a masterís degree in fine arts from Columbia University and a bachelorís degree from Rhode Island School of Design. More about the artist can be found at www.mollyvirginiasmith.com
