Just 19 months after the school district passed a $63-million bond measure for construction at the county’s schools, students at Sam Case Primary now have a place for physical education classes and indoor recess. The new gym was part of $3.9 million in bond projects for the school. NEWPORT – Want to play hopscotch or foursquare? There’s a place for that in Sam Case Primary’s gymnasium. Community members got their first look at the new construction on Tuesday as Principal Ryan Relken welcomed parents, students and other curious individuals into the newest portions of his school.
