OWET seeks wave energy analysis bids
The Oregon Wave Energy Trust announced this week that it is seeking request for proposals to analyse Oregon’s wave energy resources. The ultimate objective for the product is the ability to demonstrate to Northwest utilities the availability, predictability, and ultimately value of the ocean wave resource in Oregon.
Oregon Wave Energy Trust (OWET) – with members from fishing and environmental groups, industry and government – is a nonprofit public-private partnership funded by the Oregon Innovation Council since 2007. Its mission is to promote the responsible development of ocean energy in Oregon.
