Thoughts on writing a Christmas book
As Lincoln Countyís premier chronicler of things that largely never happened, Iíve been asked if Iíll ever write a Christmas book. As a standard white bread guy with two parents, a younger brother, non-reptilian pets and gobs of holiday anecdotes, this makes some sense. Surely, I must have plenty of memories of gathering around the tree, tearing paper off the presents, and waiting for my father to get the Super 8 camera set up so we could watch ourselves years later with really bad lighting and no sound. These special times with my nuclear family are the stuff holiday stories are made of.
Thatís precisely why I have no desire to write about them. For the complete article see the 12-19-2012 issue.
