Opera in Newport

Verdi’s “Un Ballo in Maschera,” a new production, will show at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Newport Performing Arts Center, 777 W. Olive St. The Oregon Coast Council for the Arts presents this showing as part of the Met Opera in high definition series. Tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors and $10 for students.
