Oregon Coast Community College is offering a new program in criminal justice. Approved last year by the OCCC Board of Education and the State Board of Education, the criminal justice curriculum prepares individuals for a variety of careers, such as law enforcement officers, corrections officers and juvenile workers, among others. Graduates from the program will be awarded an associate of applied science degree. The criminal justice courses cover topics such as corrections, law enforcement, criminal law or crisis intervention, to name a few.
