Crab season opening may be further delayed

Dungeness crab off Newport and most of Oregon’s central coastal water appear ready to be harvested, but the fish and wildlife agencies for the state, Northern California and Washington are still undecided on whether the season will begin on Dec. 15 or be delayed a second time.
