Lynda Louise Boone, 72, of Newport, Ore., died Nov. 30, 2012.

She was a dedicated and loving mother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Kristina; and her granddaughter Cassandra.

She is survived by her close friend, Gail Strait, eight of her nine children, John (Peggy) Boone, Michael (Lauren) Burton, Daniel (Media) Burton, Margaret (Lane) Boone, Mark Burton, Shannon (Scott) Graves, Jennete (Rick) Killpack and Sheri (Robert) Evans; and 12 grandchildren.

There will be a gathering to honor her memory at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Beverly Beach Park meeting room yurt.
