Proceedings complicated by victim’s subsequent death in car accident

NEWPORT – The start of a Lincoln County Circuit Court trial of a Seattle man who is facing several sex and assault charges involving a Toledo woman last December has been delayed pending an appeals ruling of the state’s hearsay rule.
