Storm, tsunami readiness is topic of Waldport-Yachats discussion

The city councils of Waldport and Yachats met in a joint session recently to discuss a variety of items, including work to become storm and tsunami ready.

Lincoln County Emergency Manager Jenny Demaris presented both councils with information on obtaining StormReady and TsunamiReady designations from the National Weather Service.
