Business grew from expresso to purveyor of fine foods, gifts and kitchenware
Gretchen and Paul Callaghan started Java Depot & Culinary Center in 1992 with an espresso machine, a small table with a few local products and a big vision.
“I knew what I wanted it to grow into. I wanted us to be able to bring wonderful gourmet foods and cheeses that weren’t here,” says Gretchen. “But I didn’t imagine it getting this big.”
