Freed Gallery’s outside lures art fans inside

It’s often the art outside that lures people inside the Freed Gallery, acknowledges the well-known art dealer whose eye for the eye-popping inspired her design of the landmark building at the south end of Lincoln City.

“I’m not an artist, but my late husband was an architect who taught me how to draw,” recalled Lee Freed of her renderings for the gallery that bears her name. “I wanted it to look different, not like the typical Lincoln City storefront.”
