John Bradley is featured artist at YAA Gallery in Newport

Award-winning artist John Bradley will be the spotlight artist from Nov. 17 to Nov. 30 at the Yaquina Art Association Gallery in Newport. He will have framed artwork on the center showcase walls, as well as unframed original art for sale at the gallery.

Bradley turned 91 this year and recently received the Gold Award in the Watercolor Society of Oregon, a long-time goal of his, which he just achieved this year. He moved to Waldport 30 years ago. He was born and lived in France as a boy, the son of an American soldier. He moved to the U.S. when he was 10 years old. Bradley was a dentist by profession and didn’t begin painting with watercolors until after retiring in his mid-60s.
