Terri Jane Brown, 58, of Newport, Ore., died from multiple health failures on Nov. 13, 2012 at Yakima Memorial Hospital in Yakima, Wash.
She was born March 8, 1954 to Clay and Patricia (Reed) Brown in Klamath Falls, Ore. She attended beauty school, but her dream was to be a teacher. Terri then moved to Utah to work in banking while she attended the University of Utah, where she earned her teaching degree.

Terri also taught at Toledo Middle School, Yaquina View Elementary School and Newport Intermediate School.
Terri loved teaching and worked hard to make sure each and every student was successful. She will be remembered for her love of frogs, angels and crafts that decorated her classroom, and her exceptional dedication to students. She retired in June 2012. After retirement Terri went to Selah, Wash. to be with her parents.
