Logsden farm wins again at national goat cheese competition

Pat Morford of Rivers Edge Chevre in Logsden with the beginnings of a batch of soft ripened goats milk cheese. With the help of her daughter Astraea and two employees, Rivers Edge produces between 300 and 500 pounds of cheese a week. For the second straight year they won Best in Show at the American Dairy Goat Associations cheese competition in October. LOGSDEN--For the second straight year, Rivers Edge Chevre took home the prestigious Best in Show award from the American Dairy Goat Associationís Cheese Competition held Oct. 13-20 in Boise, Idaho.
