Mary Jane Goin

Mary Jane Goin, 88, of Toledo, Ore., died Nov. 10, 2012.

She was born Aug. 24, 1924 to Mike and Laura Storm in Riverside, Calif.

She married Will Goin, and they were residents of Lincoln County for more than 60 years. Mary was a member of the Toledo Emblem Club, and she volunteered many years of service working in the gift shop at the hospital in Newport. She enjoyed playing cards, and she loved her cats.

Mary’s final years were spent with six wonderful great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Will Goin.

She is survived by her daughter, Roxie Goin of Indiana; grandson Chris Gertulla of Toledo, Ore.; and granddaughter Angie (Josh) Russell of Blodgett.

Mary’s friends are invited to a celebration of life at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Abundant Life Center, 1154 NW A St. in Toledo. A reception will follow.

Bateman Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
