County has high voter turnout in election

With 99 percent of the votes counted in Tuesday’s general election, the Lincoln County Clerk’s Office has reported that 83.33 percent of registered county voters cast their ballots, well above the state voter turnout of 73.5 percent. The total number of ballots tabulated in the county stood at 23,008 as of press time Thursday.
