On Saturday, Oct. 27, audiences at the Lincoln City Cultural Center will be treated to the works of Kurt Weill, the piano talents of George Skipworth and the vocals of Barbara Skipworth, in a concert called “I’m a Stranger Here Myself.” It will begin at 7 p.m. in the auditorium, at 540 NE Highway 101.
The Skipworths are relatively new in town, but they’ve already earned a reputation for making beautiful music. George had an early career as a concert pianist and vocalist, then moved on to symphonic and operatic conducting, with orchestras and ensembles all over the world.
