Willamette Writers Coast Branch continues its free Writers-on-Writing workshops from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, with Nancy Steinberg leading a writing workshop titled, “Dispatches from the Field and Lab: Science Writing for Everyone,” at the Newport Public Library.
Why is science writing so important? Come and find out. In what is sure to be an educational evening, Steinberg will discuss different types of science writing and the potential markets for it and participants will have the opportunity to try their hand with some short exercises.
