The Centers for Disease Control are recommending three simple steps to fighting the flu:
1) Take time to get a flu vaccine. Experts say a yearly flu vaccine is the first and most important step to prevent the flu. Everyone six months old and older is advised to get an annual flu vaccine as soon as it is available in the fall. Each year, the flu vaccine is different, so people are encouraged to make it a habit to get a new flu vaccine every year, especially health care workers and those who are around children under six months of age, to protect themselves so that they protect others.For the complete article see the 10-05-2012 issue.
