Unitarian Universalist Fellowship meets
The Central Coast Unitarian Universalist Fellowship meets from 10:15 a.m. to noon Sunday on the second floor of the Newport Visual Arts Center, 777 NW Beach Drive, at the Nye Beach turnaround.
This Sunday, the topic is “Miraculous Water: A Consideration of the Significance of Water in Religion and Science,” presented by Richard Crosby. The program examines water’s important place in the beliefs and rituals of many religions unknowingly based upon this “impossible” liquid’s unique physical and chemical properties, including its role in the origin and perpetuation of life upon this planet.
