‘An Ocean of Inspiration’ authors set to speak to cetacean society Oct. 10

The American Cetacean Society Oregon Chapter will host guest speakers at its meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Newport Public Library.

Authors and explorers Drs. Stefan Harzen and Barbara Brunnick will speak about their latest book, “An Ocean of Inspiration - The John Olguin Story,” which recounts Olguin’s life as a lifeguard, war hero, educator and godfather to millions, and president of the American Cetacean Society.
