One lane of traffic open after fatality closes Highway 101

A single lane is now open, and traffic is being flagged after a crash on Highway 101 at milepost 151 resulted in a fatality this morning.

Motorists may also use Bayview and Beaver Creek Roads as an alternate route, while expecting delays, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

A semi truck-involved rollover crash occurred around 11:30 a.m., completely shutting down the highway for approximately one and a half hours. Law enforcement personnel are investigating the crash.
