Final disc golf course work party set for this weekend

Saturday and Sunday will likely be the final work party for the Wilder Disc Golf Course in South Beach.

The Innova baskets for the 18 holes have arrived in Newport, and installation will take place this coming weekend, starting at 8 a.m. and finishing around 2 p.m. Volunteers may help out for five minutes or both days. Path development and five tee boxes also need to be completed. Bring shovels, weed trimmers, machetes, chain saws, wheel barrels, or rakes. Volunteers should wear hardy clothing and gloves.
