Photographer Donna McCoy to speak at luncheon on Oct. 4

“Some Slug” is a Frosted Nudibranch photo by Donna McCoy. She will be the guest speaker at the Coastal Arts Guild luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Newport Visual Arts Center.

The first Thursday of each month, the Coastal Arts Guild holds a luncheon for members and guests at the Newport Visual Arts Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and invites those interested in the arts to attend.

On Oct. 4, the Coastal Arts Guild welcomes Donna McCoy as guest speaker.

Macro marine photographer McCoy loves slugs - sea slugs that is. When she’s out photographing in tidal pools, she can’t resist spending a low tide getting to know them better.
