The fourth annual Lincoln County Alcohol & Drug Addiction Recovery/Wellbriety Month celebration on Saturday will feature a melding of world percussion rhythms from West Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and around the world with Native American drum and flute rhythms from our own backyard.

The celebration follows the annual Hands Across the Bridge ceremony, to be led again this year by Lincoln County Commissioner Bill Hall and District Attorney Rob Bovett, beginning at 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome to join the bridge walk; the group will gather prior to the start of the walk at the Fishermen’s Memorial in Yaquina Bay State Park, near the north end of the Yaquina Bay Bridge in Newport.
