Jason Trombetta
Jason Trombetta, 41, of Toledo, Ore., died Sept. 23, 2012 in a fire at his home.

He was born Feb. 13, 1971 to Susan and Bill Trombetta in Eugene, Ore. They moved to Newport when he was two years old. He enjoyed surfing, fishing and performing music with friends. He was a songwriter and played the guitar.

Jason was described by family as a “Jack of all trades, master of some.” He was a musician, fisherman, home construction worker and mechanic.

He is survived by his parents, Susan and Bill Trombetta; daughter, Khloe Lynn Marie Trombetta; sisters, Jessica R. Carpenter and Michelle Wyatt; brothers, Mark and Michael Agnello; three nephews; and one niece.

A memorial service will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., on Sunday, Sept. 30, at Big Creek Park. People are asked to bring love, music and memories and gather in a spirit - that Jason always created - of brotherhood. To find Big Creek Park, drive north from the Newport Walmart store, and on the east side of Highway 101, turn right on 31st Street and continue down the road, bearing right.
