Preserving their heritage is vital to members of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. While the tribe operates a modern casino and encourages members to become computer literate and stay “connected” in this technological age, tribal leaders say they “place high value and take pride in” the ways they have been preserving their heritage.
