Replacement of the Little Rock Creek Bridge (Logsden Road milepost 17.57) will begin July 17. Lincoln County has awarded a contract to Jeff Carter Construction to replace a failing timber pile and girder bridge with a steel pile founded, pre-stressed concrete span replacement. Construction activities will require the closure of one lane of traffic beginning July 25. Portable traffic signals will be in place to direct traffic through the work zone. No trucks or vehicles over eight feet wide will be permitted to cross the bridge after July 25. The new bridge is expected to be opened by Oct. 31.
