Man arrested for drugs and theft

A Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a report of an unwanted subject in the 100 block of North Stafford Road in Otis on June 25, just before 10:45 p.m.

The deputy contacted Benjamin A. Gomez, 38, of Otis, on private property owned by another individual after the property owner asked Gomez to leave and he did not.

Gomez did not cooperate and was eventually arrested for Criminal Trespass II and Theft III. The investigation revealed that he also possessed methamphetamine.

He has been lodged at the Lincoln County Jail with $65,000 bail.
