Since 2007, the Salmon Drift Creek Watershed Council (SDCWC) has been working with partners to restore the Lower Salmon River, including the former Tamara Quays trailer park.
People are invited to join SDCWC from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, for an educational invasive species work party and picnic at the Tamara Quays project site. Meet at 10 a.m. on North Fraser Road and Highway 101 near Otis. People may bring work gloves, weeding tools and hand saws if they have any.
