Wallace 'Fritz' L. Cole

Wallace “Fritz” L. Cole, 93, of Sweet Home, Ore., died June 21, 2012.

He was born Sept. 10, 1918 to Howard and Violet Cole. Fritz served in the U.S. Army in Germany and France during World War II where he received a purple heart for wounds sustained in combat.

He is survived by his twin brother Walter Cole, of Albany, Ore.; children, David, Stephen, Gary, Marlene, Dana and Bonnie; and numerous grandchildren.

Interment will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 29 at Lewis Cemetery on North River Dr. in Sweet Home.
