Young golfers take to Agate Beach for pro instruction

Newport’s Justine Bird returned to the Agate Beach Junior Golf Camp on Monday and Tuesday for an hour and a half of one-on-one instruction from Agate Beach golf pro Terry Martin.

Justine Bird arrived at the Junior Golf Camp at Agate Beach Golf Course on Monday unsure if she’ll pursue the sport at the high school level, but she definitely knew she needed help fixing a fussy hitch in her swing.
