David Lee Franklin (Brawley), 62, died June 6, 2012 in Toledo, Ore.

A wake will be held Sunday, June 24, during the regular Sunday jam at Bay Haven Inn, 608 SW Bay Blvd. in Newport. The jam is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and the wake will be around 4 p.m. People should bring a potluck dish and be prepared to tell their favorite David story. Musicians should bring their instruments.
