Newport plans Big Creek Road repair

Feds paying 75 percent of project cost

NEWPORT – Eighteen months after heavy rains caused a landslide that closed Newport’s Big Creek Road from Big Creek Park to just north of Frank Wade Memorial Park, the city got the go ahead to begin the repair process.
