An afternoon ATV ride in the Logsden area on Thursday turned fatal for one of the riders, according to Lt. Dave Carey of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
Few details were available as of press time, but it is believed the accident occurred on private property, and that the riders were possibly gathering firewood when an ATV flipped over on one of the individuals. The death was confirmed at 2:47 p.m.
