Memories of Taft and the historic Pines Hotel

John and Steve Lundin, the grandsons of Bill and Birdie Lundin, will reminisce about the early years of Taft and the historic Pines Hotel during a presentation at 1 p.m. Saturday at the North Lincoln County Historical Museum.

During the hour-long presentation, the Lundin brothers will show photos and discuss the importance of the Pines Hotel to the local community, as well as their grandparent’s role in the development of Taft and north Lincoln County. Old time residents, especially those who are familiar with the Lundins and the Pines, are encouraged to attend, join in the discussion and share memories.
