County tackles shifting sands of Bayshore

Residents of the Bayshore subdivision near Waldport might turn the tide in their never-ending battle to keep beach sand from reclaiming the development, which is located on the northern edge of Alsea Bay.

Pushed by the wind, sand frequently inundates homes built in the foredunes at Bayshore.
