Energy services administrator to give report to MidCoast Watersheds Council
The public is invited to attend a talk by Wade Carey, energy services administrator of Central Lincoln PUD, who will give a presentation about wind power options at the MidCoast Watersheds Council meeting on Aug. 5.
Carey will explain how energy from large scale wind farms gets integrated into BPA’s power grid and makes its way to a home or business. He’ll also discuss small-scale wind applications and incentives for the central Oregon coast.
The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. and is held in Central Lincoln PUD public meeting room.
Carey has a background in energy efficiency and renewable power sources. He recently joined the PUD after working for Bonneville Power Administration as their commercial/federal programs specialist. Prior to that, he worked for Columbia River PUD in Scappoose as an energy specialist.
