Boats line up under clear, cool skies for the Lighted Boat Parade on Newport’s Yaquina Bay Saturday evening. The parade is the kickoff for the annual Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital Foundation’s Festival of Trees event. The boat parade features a variety of watercraft, including Coast Guard vessels, charter boats, fishing boats, sailboats and even sea kayaks.
