NEWPORT — Oregon Coast Aquarium kicked off its new campaign, “Closer Than You Think,” last week to capture the attention of Oregon residents and visitors with surreal scenes of marine life in domestic settings.
The very idea of exploring marine environments from dry land was unattainable just a few short decades ago. “Closer Thank You Think” calls attention to how closely visitors can connect with the marine animals that live in the little-explored, watery dimension of our planet.
