George F. Browning

George F. Browning, 93, of Eugene, Ore., died Jan. 2, 2013 in Eugene.

He was born March 5, 1919 to John and Loretta Mae (Barber) Browning in Los Angeles, Calif. George and his wife, Clarajane, moved to the Oregon coast in 1962. Both of them worked as educators in Lincoln County.

A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Bateman Funeral Home, 915 Yaquina Heights Dr. in Newport.
