Helen Harrell

Helen Harrell, 79, of Newport, Ore., died Dec. 3, 2012 at her home.

She was born July 20, 1933 to James and Margaret Dunn in Joliet, Ill.

A visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at Bateman Funeral Home, 915 NE Yaquina Heights Dr. in Newport. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at Bateman Funeral Home with burial to follow at Belcrest Memorial Park in Salem. A complete obituary will follow at a later date.

Bateman Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
