Laurence “Lauren” Prink Jr., 68, of South Beach, Ore., died Oct. 24, 2009.

He was born Sept. 7, 1941 to Laurence Prink Sr. and Elma Fisher. He was a high school graduate.

He spent his career as owner and operator of Westside TV in Eugene, and worked as a TV repairman for 40 years. He retired in October 1999, when he sold the business and then moved to South Beach.

He married Gail Swanson in Santa Clara, Calif., and the two later divorced. He then married Janice King in Tahoe, Calif.

He was a Lutheran.

He is survived by his wife, Janice “Jan” Prink; son, Daniel Prink of Reno, Nev.; daughters, Kelly Boese and Julie Culbertson both of Salem; stepsons, Robert Gilan of Bend and Rick Gilman of Eugene; sister, Virginia Pannasch of San Diego; four grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.

A funeral with the Rev. John Ingram officiating will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sunset Hills Chapel, 5810 Willamette St. in Eugene.
